I made my boy this bento when I first bought the animal sauce container. Since I’m using the chicken sauce container, so I decided to make my boy a chicken with hard boiled egg. In this bento are a flower bread tart with mayonnaise egg, some sausages and a hard boiled egg.

How I made it?
First, I cut the bread using the flower cutter, and use a water tumbler cap to make a circle in the middle of the flower. I then set the bread into a round baking cup and toast the bread in oven.

After the bread cool down at room temperature, I arrange the sausage slices around the flower bread cup, and then put in the mayonnaise egg filling. As for the little chicken, I cut the detail from carrot and seaweed and just put them accordingly using a hard boiled egg. Just make a slight cut at the spot where you want to slip in the carrot and they’ll hold.

I came across your website when I search the Fungate system from the net. Thanks for sharing on the fungate system comment and my 2years+ son will enter fungate preschool next week. I hope he will like it. Looking forward for it.
I like your bento set so much. I really inspire with your effort spent for the kids. However, I don’t think a working mom will have time to do all these stuffs. Are you a working mom?
Again, thanks for sharing..cheers

Hello working mum – Glad that the information I share here helps. I hope your son enjoys the preschool just like my son. And yes, I’m a working mum too. That why you see my bento are mostly kind of speedy bento, not really need heavy cooking type. And once you get used to preparing bento, it actually can be done in quite a timely manner. Maybe you can try it out during weekends first?
